I began my professional journey in 1980, during one of the most turbulent periods in Italian economic history, marked by high inflation, political instability, and volatile markets. I took my first steps as a broker in the interbank market, developing early on a deep understanding of risk and market dynamics.
Working in such a highly competitive environment taught me that risk is not simply a financial variable — it must be interpreted, anticipated, and managed.
I witnessed firsthand the key events that shaped global markets, experiences that strengthened an approach to trading built on method, discipline, and the intelligent use of technology.
Trading has always been my passion, pursued with an increasingly structured and scientific mindset. I believe in a simple principle: clear rules and reliable tools, just as a pilot relies on instruments and procedure. Unexpected events are part of the journey, but with the right safeguards in place, they never become fatal.
Alongside finance, football became another defining part of my path. In both worlds, I reached the same conclusion: expertise alone is not enough. Technology is essential to turn experience into method, reduce error, and make decisions more objective.
In trading, this means developing proprietary systems that are measurable, repeatable, and robust. In football, it means creating integrated platforms that help technical and medical staff prevent injuries and optimize performance.
This is also where Francesco fits naturally into the story. He began in professional football as a physiotherapist, then brought his skills, method, and analytical approach into the world of financial markets in Dubai. His journey is more than a transition from sport to finance — it is a clear example of how different disciplines can converge into a single model based on risk management, data interpretation, and decision support. It is a generational continuation of the same vision, enriched by new perspectives and international reach.
Today, my path moves between these two worlds — apparently distant, yet deeply connected by passion, method, and the pursuit of precision.
Whether in the markets or on the field, I have never stopped playing my game to the very end.
After years as a broker, I chose to step back and adapt to a market increasingly shaped by technology. That awareness led to the creation of Luxorlab Trading System, through which I developed forecasting models based on method, rules, and innovation, also collaborating with organizations such as Il Sole 24 Ore.
At the same time, I became increasingly involved in football first through passion, then in management roles. There, I encountered many of the same critical issues I had seen in the markets: a lack of method, poor data integration, and limited ability to manage risk effectively.
A direct experience with injuries, also through my son Francesco, made me realize how fragile and under-structured athlete management systems often were. That insight led to the creation of WeakRisk: a platform designed to bring the same methodological rigor of financial markets into football by integrating physical, medical, and performance data into one decision-making system.
In just a few months, WeakRisk Sport Solutions gained credibility and reached Serie A, helping clubs and professionals reduce errors, prevent injuries, and optimize performance. Today, it stands as a benchmark, a single data hub and management platform that helps clubs identify blind spots invisible to the naked eye, reduce manual processes and human error, make decisions based on objective data, improve player availability and performance, and strengthen injury prevention strategies.
Meanwhile, Francesco followed an independent yet complementary path. In many ways, his journey mirrors mine in reverse: after earning a degree in physiotherapy from a prestigious European university, he moved from professional football into financial markets, demonstrating the same continuity of vision through method, adaptability, and the ability to understand complexity.
This journey, across finance and sport, is guided by one constant principle: without method, discipline, and objective data, risk cannot truly be managed. And in a world that is constantly changing, the only real certainty is the ability to evolve.
A continuous journey shaped by the crises and breakthroughs that defined the modern global economy.
How technology and data analysis connect two worlds that may seem far apart, yet share the same foundations.
Trading is not intuition, it is engineering. I develop systems grounded in rigorous scientific logic and clear rules, designed to ensure consistency and repeatability. My philosophy is centered on building a “reliable machine”: algorithms that operate without bias, removing human error and emotional instability from the decision-making process. A single data management system that brings together technical and medical staff. By centralizing athletic and clinical data, we improve performance while significantly reducing the risk of injury. Data becomes the common language for protecting talent and maximizing efficiency on the field. This is where WeakRisk takes shape.

“Technology does not replace vision, it amplifies it. It provides the tools to transform passion into something measurable, actionable, and successful.”
The mindset of a “pilot” who masters both the markets and the playing field through scientific rigor.

The vision does not stop; it evolves. After years in financial markets, working at the intersection of technology and risk management, the project has entered a new international phase. Francesco carries forward the same method, discipline, and scientific approach, developing the model in Dubai, rooted in Italian experience, yet projected toward new global opportunities.
Dubai is now one of the world’s leading hubs for finance, technology, and entrepreneurship,an ideal environment in which to apply experience and predictive capability on a truly global scale.

The name Zenith Labs, chosen by the Emirati authorities, also recalls Luxorlab ,the project I founded in 2001: a laboratory of ideas born from risk, innovation, and the ability to interpret complexity. It is a story that continues to evolve, connecting roots, future, and international ambition, with Zenith AIndex as the flagship product of Zenith Labs.
Francesco’s path reflects a parallel evolution to my own. After years as a physiotherapist in professional football, he brought the same precision and method into finance, founding Zenith Labs in Dubai.
It is the concept of “training wallets” instead of muscles: applying the scientific rigor of athletic preparation to the professional management of capital in Dubai’s financial markets.
A mirrored journey: while I moved from markets into football, Francesco followed the opposite path, carrying with him the same philosophy of clear rules and reliable systems.
